Authority Prescription Shopping Cart is Empty

Some PBS subsidised medications are restricted and only subsidised under specific circumstances. These prescriptions require approval from Medicare Australia in order receive at a subsidised rate. These prescriptions are flagged as Authority Required. An approved authority prescription will have an authority prescription number and a valid approval number. If we do not have your Authority quantity listed for purchase on our website please click here to request it.

Below is an example Authority Prescription which indicates where the authority prescription number and authority approval number can be located.  If you do not have either of these numbers of your prescription you are not eligible for an Authority price and you must select another price option.
