The probe tip (the part that goes in the ear) is the most delicate part of the Braun IR Ear Thermometer a€" if it gets dirty, dusty, cracked or damaged in any way it can greatly affect readings.
To ensure best accuracy, the Braun Lens Filters need to be used every time, and disposed of after one use.
Hygenic & sanitary a€" helps eliminate germ transfer particularly in families where more than one person uses the thermometer. Gentle, flexible and comfortable, even for babies.
1. Wash hands. 2. Remove lens filter from the packet, holding at the base. 3. Place over the probe tip of the Braun ThermoScan. 4. Proceed to use the thermometer as per manufacturer's instructions. 5.When the reading is complete, slip your finger or thumb under the base of the lens filter, gently remove it from the probe tip and dispose.
Use only as directed. If fever or complaints persist, consult your doctor.
