Dulcolax works overnight by gently stimulating the bowel muscles to give you effective relief from your constipation next morning.
Bisacodyl 5mg
Dulcolax should be taken as needed to relieve constipation. Adults and children over 10 years: 1 or 2 tablets at night. Children 6 to 10 years: 1 tablet at night.
Children 6 to 10 years with chronic constipation should only be treated under medical supervision.
Do not crush or chew Dulcolax tablets. Do not take milk or anatacids within 1 hour of taking Dulcolax tablets.
Do not take if patient has acute abdominal conditions including appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel disease, severe abdominal pain associated with nausea and vomiting, blockage in the bowel, a blockage in the intestine, severe dehydration, galactose intolerance, fructose intolerance.
