Use this medicine for clearing chest congestion and relieving a sore throat associated with a chesty cough. The efficiacy of an antibacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.

Ingredients

Each Lozenge Contains: Bromhexine Hydrochloride 8mg, Cetylpyridinium Chloride 1.33mg. Also Contains Saccharin Sodium, Isomalt.

Usage

Adults and children over 12 years: 2 lozenges (every 8 hours as required (max. of 6 lozenges per day). Children 6-12 years: 1 Lozenge (every 8 hours as required (max. 3 lozenges per day). Use in children 6-12 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

Warnings

Do not use this medication in children under 6 years of age. Contains 15.5g isomalt per 6 lozenges (maximum recommended daily dose). Products containing isomalt hay have a laxative effect.
