Imodium Zapid provides convenient relief from the symptoms of diarrhoea and acts to restore normal bowel function, allowing you to continue your planned daily activities with confidence.
Who can use Imodium Zapid: Adults, children 12 years and over.
How to use: 2 tablets initially, followed by 1 tablet after each loose unformed stool as needed.
Peel back foil from blister pocket, carefully press tablet upwards and remove from blister. Do not push tablet through foil. Do not crush tablet.
Place the tablet on your tongue where it dissolves instantly without the need for water.
Maximum: 8 tablets in 24 hours.
How long: No longer than 48 hours.
Do not use if blister foil is broken. Do not use for children under 12 years of age. Do not use if you have a medical condition where constipation should be avoided. Do not use if you have previously had a rash or allergic reaction to products containing loperamide. Consult your doctor/pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have a fever, severe stomach ache, blood in you stool or on-going medical condition affecting the bowel. If diarrhoea persists beyond 48 hours, seek medical advice as soon as possible. Drink plenty of fluids as fluid and electrolyte depletion may occur.
