Strepsils Plus Lozenges have been formulated to give effective and rapid relief from painful and inflamed sore throats. Their dual action formula contains a local anaesthetic to numb the throat while the two antibacterial agents help kill the bacteria which can cause sore throats and mouth infections.
Lignocaine hydrochloride 10mg, Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg, Amylmetacresol 600µg. Each lozenge also contains Sucrose, Glucose & Saccharin.
Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 hours as required. Strepsils Lozenges are suitable for adults and children over 6 years. Not suitable for children 6 years and under. No more than 8 lozenges to be sucked in any 24 hour period. If symptoms persist for more than two days accompanied by fever, headache or nausea consult your doctor.
Keep all medicines out of reach of children. Do not take hot food or drink soon after using this product as it may burn your mouth. Do not use if foil seal is broken. Each lozenge also contains Sucrose, Glucose & Saccharin. The efficacy of an antibacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.
