Handy tips for a good lunchbox
Children spend one-third of their day at school so their lunch box should include one-third of their nutritional needs. Planning and preparing ahead will not only save you time during the morning rush, but will make the process less stressful too. By developing healthy eating habits at a young age, it can help prevent several health conditions later in life.

Keep it simple
Often, we get caught up in the appearance of the lunch box. Don't worry about making your kid's lunch social media worthy! Make it easy on yourself by keeping it simple and healthy.

Get organised early
Getting into the habit of making extra food can really help.  Leftover dinner can make a fantastic addition to a lunch box. Try and set aside some time to prep and freeze food for the week. This will take the pressure off in the mornings.

Pack a rainbow
Use fruits and veggies to add colour and nutrition. Around 93% of children don’t eat enough vegetables so this is a great way to help increase their intake.

Get the Kids Involved!
If the kids are involved with planning and prepping their lunch boxes, they are more likely to eat and enjoy their food.
