The promise of a fresh start, a whole new set of resolutions to systematically break (probably by mid-January if you’re anything like me :P) and a national wide sense of excitement and anticipation, New Year’s Eve always one of the best nights on the calendar. So whether you’’re spending it out on the town, watching the fireworks with your family, or just chilling at at house party with your friends, I've collected my very fave (and party-proof!) NYE makeup looks to ensure you’re starting the year looking fresh and fabulous!!

1. PEACHY KEEN
If you’re a fan of the more subtle makeup looks, but still want to glam up your normal routine, then look no further than a fresh, peachy complexion with a sharp black liner!

Nothing says GLAM more than a statement red lip - but how do you get them to stay on all night?! I’ve chosen a fire engine red to modernise this classic, and here’s the perfect product that will last you allllll night (and won’t come off with a cheeky Happy New Years kiss!!)

3. SEXY SMOKEY EYE
If it’s drama you’re after, then of course a smokey eye is the way to go. But how do you get sexy sultry smokey, rather the n panda eyes? It’s all in the shadow colour choice!! I prefer to use the following palette of browns, with a gold inner corner highlight.

4. BRIGHT POP LIP
New Year’s Eve is such a festive time of year, so why not incorporate an element of fun into your makeup look? I love a pop lip, and this glossy Fuchsia lip is easily maintainable and nourishing to go the distance for the big evening.

5. THE LADY IS A VAMP
If you prefer to walk on the wild side this NYE, then a deep plum lip is a super sexy way to go! Again, we don’t want to spend our whole night worrying if our lips are all over our face, so I strongly recommend a deep hue from the Revlon Ultra Matte HD Range! I try to keep eyes minimal when I do a statement lip, so have focused more on the brow with neutral tones on the eyes and lashings of mascara.
