Adults: Add 10 grams (approximately 2 level 5mL medicinal measuring spoons) to a glass of at least 250mL of cool water 1 a€" 2 times daily. Stir briskly and drink immediately. An additional glass of water is helpful. For new users it is recommended that you begin with one dose every day, gradually increasing to up to two doses per day if required. Keep Out of Reach of Children Consult your doctor before using this product if you are experiencing abdominal pain, nausea, change in bowel movements, vomiting or if constipation has continued for more than 7 days. Do not use this product if you have difficulty swallowing or are experiencing abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner. It is essential that this product be consumed with sufficient fluid. Failure to consume Psyllium with adequate fluid may cause it to swell and obstruct the throat or esophagus and result in choking. Laxatives and high fibre diets may affect the absorption and effectiveness of some medications. If you are taking medication please check with your doctor before using this product and following medical advice endeavor to take it a minimum of two hours before and after prescribed medications to minimize impact on their absorption.
