Dulcolax works overnight by gently stimulating the bowel muscles to give you effective relief from your constipation next morning.
Each Dulcolax tablet contains 5mg of bisacodyl and the following ingredients: lactose, maize starch, glycerol, magnesium stearate,sucrose, purified talc, acacia, titanium dioxide, methacrylic acid copolymer, castor oil, macrogol 6000, iron oxide yellow CI77492,white beeswax, carnauba wax, shellac, and maize starch (soluble).
Swallow Dulcolax tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew Dulcolax tablets.
Adults: 1 or 2 tablets at night.
Children 6 -10 years: 1 tablet at night.
Do not take Dulcolax tablets together with medicines that lower acidity of the upper gastrointestinal tract (stomach). Special care is recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Dulcolax tablets are not recommended in children under 6 years of age. Always read the label. Use only as directed. If symptoms persist see your healthcare professional.
